SKP Needle Rollers are made from through - hardened bearing quality steel of hardness 58-65 HRC. The surface finish is < 0.2 urn Ra. Rollers having better finish can be supplied on request.
SKP rollers can be offered confirming to world standards as DIN 5402, IS 4217 and all equivalent international standards. We can also give rollers in G5, G3, G2 classes.
Proper maintenance of Microgeometry in needle rollers is very high importance. SKP brand Needle Rollers are supplied with a contoured outside which decreases towards the ends. This reduces the stress peaks at the ends of the rolling elements and achieve proper distribution of stresses resulting from loading and shaft deflection.
Since the profile of needle is not cylindrical along its whole length as there is a very slight taper towards the ends, therefore precise measurement of the diameter can only be carried out in the central area of the needle. Needle Rollers having a greater taper at the end may be supplied on request.
